Dictionary of Numbers is a free Chrome extension that allows you to look up numbers in human terms. In other words, it turns things like population and income into things like people and money.
When it finds a number it can understand, it will show you the human-understandable meaning in plain English and its corresponding number (in scientific notation). It will even turn the number into a formula, so you can calculate it yourself.
So, let's say you want to know the population of the United States. Using Dictionary of Numbers, you can simply type in "US" and it will turn that into a number in human terms. If you want to know the population of a specific state, simply type in the name of the state. It will turn that into a number in human terms.
